DBS Law celebrates a double Law Society honour

Lawyers and staff at DBS Law are celebrating today after the firm was shortlisted in two categories in the prestigious Birmingham Law Society Awards for 2014. The Birmingham Law Society represents 4,000 solicitors in the City.

DBS Law is shortlisted for Law Firm of the Year 5-15 partners. The award is given for great service to clients, great results and a great attitude.  DBS Law does a great deal of work in the community in Birmingham including providing free road safety concerts for school children, supporting The Prince’s Trust and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, and provides free advice clinics at the Birmingham CAB centre.

DBS Law CEO, Rob Bhol, has also been shortlisted for the award for Partner of the year. Mr Bhol has seen the firm successfully through difficult times with dramatically increased income, the acquisition of two new firms, and  the introduction of an innovative customer service program.

DBS Law CEO Rob Bhol said, “It is a great honour for us to be shortlisted in two categories and we think it is a vindication of our philosophy that a law firm must have social justice at the heart of everything it does. As a relative newcomer in the legal industry in Birmingham, DBS Law started trading in 2006, being recognised for excellence by our peers is just fantastic,”.

DBS Law has 80 lawyers and support staff based in Broad St and Bearwood. It is currently engaged in a process of acquisitions to accelerate growth and its spread of services.
