The Aston Professional Managers’ Award will provide the latest thinking, tools and techniques in key areas of business practice. Delivered over five two-day modules, it is designed to enable participants to take their newly-acquired knowledge back into the workplace and apply it immediately, providing benefits to them and their organisation from day one.
This practical approach, along with its competitive pricing, is expected to appeal particularly to SMEs and reflects Aston Business School’s continued commitment to growing local talent and supporting SME businesses in the region.
It also offers a flexible option to study at an institution with a long reputation for delivering high quality executive development programmes for employees in larger companies who want to gain skills and knowledge to take their career to the next level.
The award will be delivered by experts from Aston Business School chosen for their real-world, commercial experience with a broad range of management expertise. It will cover the key management disciplines of strategy, operations, finance, people and project management and will have an emphasis on making difficult decisions and dealing with cross-functional issues.
Paul Butler, Executive Development Director at Aston Business School and Course Director for the Aston Professional Managers’ Award, said:
“This programme will not only give participants the skills and knowledge to move on to a more senior role in the future, but importantly, because it is learning by doing, it will enable them to add real business benefit to their organisation immediately and as they go through the programme”.
The Aston Professional Managers’ Award will be formally launched at Aston Business School’s summer social and networking event on Thursday 19th June 2014. Members of the delivery team will be on hand to talk about how the award can benefit you and your organisation from 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm.
