Business Quarter, the magazine celebrating and inspiring entrepreneurship across the UK, is celebrating the printing of its 100th issue nationally.

It’s quite a milestone for the team, who eight years ago spotted a gap in the market to celebrate the successes that local entrepreneurs and the business community were enjoying.

Now, in 2016, BQ publishes four different editions of its quarterly magazine, and has continued to grow with the launch of daily BQ Breakfast bulletins and the BQLive website which is packed with its own unique, inspirational features.

Alongside that, events like the BQ live debates and Emerging Entrepreneurs celebrations have brought together groups of likeminded businesspeople to stimulate positive change, and with partners we’ve celebrated the use of IP and the outstanding successes of exporters in some national campaigns.

As a group of entrepreneurs, sponsors, contributors and team members gather tonight in Leeds to celebrate, BQ MD Bryan Hoare reflects on the magazine’s achievements: “Each quarter, more than 100,000 people read an issue of BQ Magazine. We publish in Scotland, the North East of England, Yorkshire and the West Midlands and we’ll soon have copies in London and the North West too.

“There are so many inspirational stories out there to be told, and our editors over the years have done a first-class job of finding people who don't necessarily focus on self-promotion, but whom we should be celebrating, and we are inspired by.

“I’m very proud of the team, past and present, who’ve been instrumental in making BQ what it is today, and truly excited about the next 100 issues.”
