The Sigma Financial Group, which employs over 450 staff at its offices in Birmingham and Redditch, came top in the Best Outsourcing Initiative of the Year category in the 2016 Credit Strategy Utility and Telecommunications Awards, seeing off competition from businesses including Carphone Warehouse, Equifax and Southern Water.
The firm claimed the top honour for their ongoing partnership with energy giant ScottishPower, where Sigma provides a variety of customer contact and credit management services for the utilities provider.

Sigma was acquired by South African-based business process outsourcing firm, the Digicall Group in January this year. Headquartered in Johannesburg, the acquisition helped Digicall expand its presence in the UK market, also allowing Sigma to provide clients with access to offshore services.
Sigma works in the B2B and B2C sectors with clients including major blue chip organisations from the utilities, financial services, retail and telecommunications industries.
