Interlink Express doubles the size of its Redditch depot

Parcel company Interlink Express has doubled the size of its Redditch depot after moving to a new site on Nash Road.

The franchise operation, which employs a 17-strong workforce, has taken 6,860 sq ft at Unit 7 on the io Centre in Nash Road. The business was previously located at Lakeside.

Debbie Oxley, managing director and Interlink franchisee said the expansion reflected rising business levels, particularly internet orders.

"We have a strong reputation with businesses in the local area for providing a high quality service and a range of time sensitive delivery options.

"The new premises represent a further significant investment in the business, and will enable us to expand our operation and work more efficiently to meet the growing demand for our services," she said.

Ben Truslove, a director of John Truslove, who worked for the owners, said: "Interlink Express is a nationally recognised brand and clearly a very successful business in Redditch.

"I’m really pleased we were able to help them find larger premises.  Location is key to their operation and the io Centre is ideally situated, with good access to the major local A-roads as well as the Midlands motorway network."
