North East energy broker creates 40 jobs

A North East energy broker is continuing a major recruitment drive, prompted by several contract wins.

The Green Energy Advice Bureau currently employs 45 staff at their South Shields head office, and is set to recruit an additional 40 employees by the end of this year.

The company is looking to recruit individuals for outbound B2B sales and consultancy roles.

Established in 2015, The Green Energy Advice Bureau is a regional success story with sales estimated to reach £9m in its third financial year.

Last month, the broker opened a new office in Liverpool to help SMEs in the North West source cost-effective green and traditional energy solutions. The Green Energy Advice Bureau also has offices in Spain and Serbia, operating across the UK and Europe.

Service areas offered by the company include energy and water procurement, sustainability and energy management, and guidance on compliance legislation.
