A long-established West Midland’s air conditioning company has secured funding to purchase new premises after winning several new substantial contracts.
Braywhite & Co Ltd, which has been trading now for 50 years, has purchased the half-acre site on Cato Street in Birmingham after receiving funding from Barclays.
The new site will allow the company to expand and grow the business to meet the demand of new maintenance contracts as well as growing its existing contracts which
The site offers better vehicular access and will allow the business to operate more efficiently.
Commenting on the funding, managing director, Faisal Lone said: “The company is seeing three-fold growth which has required us to move to new premises in order to accommodate this growth.
“We are fortunate in that we have a dedicated workforce, who offer a great service to our clients and has ultimately resulted in the recent contract wins and renewals.”
Braywhite & Co Ltd provides commercial air conditioning units, refrigeration and heating to schools, universities and hospitals as well as a full maintenance service.
They employ 45 staff and have a growing fleet of 25 vehicles.
The business is owned and run by Faisal Lone, managing director, and Mohammed Khan, operations director, who bought the business from the previous owners less than 3 years ago.
Mohammed has been with the business since he joined as an apprentice 25 years ago, worked his way through the ranks, and now runs the service side of the business.
Faisal runs the sales and new business to include major project works/tenders/contracts with the support of Terry Masters (head of operations).
