Bury-based customer service technology firm, Gnatta, has expanded its workforce to 30 people from just 16 in 2015, and expects to hire another 10 people by the end of this year.
Gnatta will be recruiting people from the Bury area, including a business analyst, a database administrator, and support team members, as well as increasing its technology team of software developers, dev-ops, and testers.
CEO, Jack Barmby, founded Gnatta in 2012 when he was just 19 and built a platform that has transformed how companies approach customer service. Gnatta connects data from all the various systems and channels that a company uses to communicate with its customers so that when someone contacts them for help, the customer service agent has everything they need in one place.
It’s been a hit with businesses – Gnatta now processes more than two million conversations a month across SMS, social media, webchat, telephone, review sites, direct message, or email and count some of the most innovative names in retail – including ASOS – among its customers.
Jack Barmby, founder and CEO of Gnatta, said: “Our team works hard to make sure we’re always ahead of the game.
“We’re always pushing to find innovate, engaging and, creative software solutions to make customer service easier to do well. We’re a strong team and it’s important to me that people are proud of what they do – and of working for Gnatta.”
Barmby believes that Bury is the perfect place to find and grow the talent the business needs to succeed: “Bury is a great place to work: there’s amazing talent, it’s one of the fastest-growing cities in the UK, and there’s a real tech hub springing up here. And we’re close to Manchester with its international transport link. Where could be better to grow a business?”
