Refresh extends footprint in built environment

Manchester-based agency Refresh PR is celebrating its eighth birthday with new contracts and a busy period of growth.

CityBlock, which develops and manages student accommodation across the UK, has selected Refresh PR to manage communication as it enters new markets. The campaign will work to reinforce CityBlock’s position in the student accommodation arena, while highlighting its dedication to student welfare.

Erin Heywood, head of B2B at Refresh PR, said: “While there is a wealth of student accommodation providers across the country, CityBlock is pioneering in its approach, basing the majority of the decisions it makes for its developments on student welfare. When there is such angst and uncertainty in the world today, it is enlightening to work with an organisation that focuses so closely on the wellbeing and safety of its clientele, rather than profit or numbers.

“Our work with CityBlock will ensure the importance it places on research and feedback with students is aligned with the expert finishes of its buildings; they really do bring a new era to student accommodation, and we hope we can work alongside CityBlock for a long time to come in order to support its UK expansion.”

Refresh PR has also been appointed by Complete Flooring Solutions (CFS), a product range tailored for architects, specifiers, contractors and designers.

The PR firm will use its knowledge of the sector-specific press to promote CFS’s product innovation, research and performance.

Heywood added: “A rebrand is the perfect opportunity to reintroduce yourself to key target sectors, and we knew from our initial meetings with CFS, when we were able to garner so much expertise and knowledge of the market, that we would be working with a brand that has a lot to say.

“We’re looking forward to presenting everything CFS has to offer to the professionals we know will have their jobs made easier by using its products, and anticipate it will be the start of an exciting time for the company.”
