The 6,600 sq ft Warwick nursery will offer day-time facilities for babies up to two years, toddlers and pre-schoolers, as well as external play areas, garden and a first-floor balcony.
Birmingham-based Fusion Building Consultancy has been appointed to oversee the construction work.
Fusion is acting as employer’s agent for development manager, Coltham Developments, to deliver the two-storey nursery at Chase Meadow for the owners, Atlas Land Limited.
“We are very pleased to be involved with what will be the first of a number of new-build nursery projects for Busy Bees and look forward to delivering a much-needed facility in the community,” said Simon Mole, quantity surveyor at Fusion.
Keelie Leahy, new sites operations director at Busy Bees, said: “Fusion has a great reputation in the area and we’re really looking forward to working with Simon and the rest of his team.
“We are delighted to be back in Warwick and look forward, very much, to opening our stunning new nursery in February 2017. In the meantime we will continue to work with all community partners to ensure that the nursery aligns perfectly with the infrastructure already in place.”
Work has begun on site and it is expected to complete in January 2017.
