Midlands homebuilder Avant Homes has acquired a 17.8-acre site in Coalville to build a £9.8m development of 166 new homes, as part of continued investment in the region.

The proposed new homes will be a mixture of innovatively designed homes including two, three and four-bedroom semi-detached and detached houses, all complete with the housebuilder’s new interior specification.
The homebuilder also plans to deliver a tree-lined main entrance and spine road which will retain existing dry stone feature walls at many locations throughout the development.
Avant Homes Midlands managing director, Glyn Mabey, said: “We are pleased to have been granted outline planning permission for 166 new homes in Coalville and we are keen to share our detailed plans with house buyers in the area.

As well as providing much-needed family homes, Avant Homes will deliver 33 affordable homes and invest more than £650,000 in education, infrastructure and travel initiatives.
Located on the outskirts of Coalville, the site benefits from views of Bardon Hill and excellent connections to the nearby cities of Leicester, Derby and Nottingham.
