The Yorkshire homebuilder has secured a second parcel of land at Waverley in Rotherham - its fourth land acquisition in South Yorkshire in the last 12 months.
Contracts have been exchanged with owners Harworth Group for the 14.06-acre site and a planning application to build a mix of 220 three and four-bedroom properties has been submitted.
The latest acquisition comes amid the construction of 61 family homes at its Sorby Row development as well as 39 homes at Heartwood and 62 homes at The Brickworks, two developments in the village of Stannington in Sheffield.
With a combined value of £101m, the four new sites will bring a total of 382 homes to the Sheffield City Region once completed.

Waverley’s location offers great links to both Rotherham and Sheffield and fast access to the M1 commuter corridor.
The masterplan for the 740-acre site includes a planned 3,890 new homes (with 750 already built) alongside the world-renowned Advanced Manufacturing Park – home to Boeing, Rolls-Royce, McLaren Automotive and the University of Sheffield’s Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC) – and a local centre including a range of retail and community facilities.

This performance led to Avant Homes being named as the 46th fastest-growing private mid-market company in The Sunday Times Grant Thornton Top Track 250 league tables.
