Bradford-based housebuilder Jones Homes has announced its most recent acquisition, six acres of land located in the village of Hade Edge, West Yorkshire.
With planning consent already granted, Jones Homes has plans to transform the land into a luxury development of 58 homes that will be known as Heather View.
Launching this Summer, Heather View will provide a superb range of three, four and five bedroom detached and semi-detached family homes, as well as 12 affordable units.
Just two miles from the market town of Holmfirth, Heather View will provide homes for those looking for a new build property in a rural retreat.
All will be built to Jones Homes’ standards and benefit from a luxurious specification that features a contemporary open plan kitchen diner with integrated appliances and modern bathrooms and en-suites.
In keeping with the existing local architecture, all properties will be built from natural stone and feature beautiful slate rooves, ensuring this prestigious development blends into the local environment whilst retaining a sense of exclusivity.
Regional director at Jones Homes, David Ruffley, said: “We are pleased to have acquired this land in Hade Edge and look forward to developing a sustainable scheme that complements the existing character of the village and helps protect it for the future.”
“At Jones Homes, we are committed to quality and investing in the local communities in which we develop.
“We are confident that our beautifully designed and expertly built new homes will blend with the existing residential offering and serve to enhance it for years to come.
“Over the last 20 years we have forged an excellent reputation, building beautiful developments in desirable locations.
“Combining a sought-after location in a picturesque village with a collection of expertly designed, distinguished new build homes, we are very much looking forward to build starting at Heather View in the coming months.”
As well as the provision of 12 affordable units, Jones Homes will make additional contributions to education and off-site highway improvements in the local area.
Jones Homes is proud of its track record in Yorkshire and takes a conscientious and responsible approach to development that is reflected in every scheme, including this new project in Hade Edge.
Marking a considerable milestone, Heather View will be the company’s second new build development in Hade Edge with the Flowery Fields development being completed over 10 years ago, and Heather View being the 20th development in Kirklees in its 20-year history; the housebuilder has had a continuous presence in the borough since it was first established in 1998.
Construction will begin immediately, and Jones Homes anticipates having a sales presence on site in June this year.
Prices for the properties have not yet been released.
