Creative pro-Manchester (part of the wider pro-Manchester sector group) and MPA (Manchester Publicity Association) are joining forces to deliver a series of joint events.
The MPA, a not for profit membership organisation for the creative digital and media industries in Greater Manchester, brings together the industry for debates, networking training and social events.
Creative pro-Manchester runs initiatives to help the business community engage with the creative, digital and media Sector to promote work within the region.
The collaboration between the two will help support the city’s continuing creative and digital success and promote upcoming opportunities available for the industry.
The first event will be taking place on September 7 at MediaCom. ‘The Future of Creative and Digital’ will be a platform for Manchester’s industry experts to come together to discuss the city’s digital success, the greatest challenges Manchester digital firms face, and future opportunities.
Confirmed speakers at the event will include; Erica Ingham from MediaCom North, Alex Connock, digital video entrepreneur, Mikael Hellberg, animation and media, Access to Music, and Matt Hunt, CEO of Apadmi.
In addition to the panel discussion, delegates will be able to join conversation, with numerous roundtables designed give an opportunity to mingle and share stories on challenges and opportunities impacting their business.
Daniel Nolan, chair of creative pro-manchester and MPA said: “As someone involved in both the MPA and pro-manchester, it’s very important to me that the two organisations work together for the benefit of the local creative, digital and media industries. Collaboration is a key ingredient in our city’s success and by facilitating and setting an example I hope we can help our members to grow their businesses.”
