PET-Xi furthers regional expansion

Coventry firm PET-Xi, which specialises in supporting young people across England and Wales to fulfil their potential, has made another step towards its regional expansion by moving its 70-strong team into new offices.

Its new headquarters, located on Westwood Business Park, is expected to open the door for future expansion and further recruitment across the business.

Launched from the home of joint managing directors Fleur and Chris Sexton 22 years ago, the company uses a range of courses and programmes to help young people of all ages to overcome barriers to learning inside and outside of school.

“It’s amazing to think how much the company has grown since day one,” she said.

“This is a big investment we’ve made as not only does it give us vital extra space to grow, including the creation of a new training facility, it also enables us to put our own stamp on the building and establish as good a working environment for the team as we possibly can.

“It was important for us to stay in Coventry as it is a great place to do business and invest in. We love working and living in Coventry and buying a premises is one way in which we are supporting and investing in the city we love and it will really enable us to grow our services and help us take the business to the next level."

PET-Xi has won a string of awards for its work with schools and organisations and for the impact of its apprenticeships and traineeships on organisations across the country.

Chris added: “We’re proud of the reputation we’ve established for supporting young people all over the country to achieve more in school and become as employable as possible and we’re looking forward to further enhancing our services from our new headquarters.

“Over the years we’ve received great support from local organisations, such as the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce, and from Wright Hassall on a legal perspective on this deal.”

The purchase deal was completed with the support of law firm Wright Hassall.
