The 2017 BQ National Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year campaign, powered by Atom Bank, brought together established entrepreneurs from across the UK with the challenge of identifying individuals who, in their view, are representative of a next generation entrepreneur.
The overall winner, our 2017 Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year and the North East winner in partnership with Gateshead College is John Savage, of North East firm Flame Heating Spares.
Laura Earnshaw of My Happy Mind scooped both the North West award and the People's Choice award on the night.
And David Hunter of Shotscope, James Howard of Yorkshire Payments, and Bruce Gray of the Left Handed Giant Brewing Company all took home trophies too.
