Virgin has announced that it will bring the Voom Tour 2017, including pitching competition Voom Pitch, to The Hayes on 5th October.
The Voom bus will be on hand to offer free business advice and a range of activities including one-to-one expert business advice from experts including ICAEW, JCDecaux, LinkedIn and Crowdfunder as well as a panel discussion featuring award-winning entrepreneur and Cardiff-born businesswoman Lisa Marie Brown.

The Voom Bus arrives in Cardiff as new research from Virgin Media Business shows that over two-fifths of people from Cardiff (42%) think they’ve had a great idea for a new business, but the majority of this group (58%) have failed to turn their business idea into reality.
The top reasons for not taking any action include being too scared to take such a big risk (39%), not knowing how to start (35%) and not knowing how to get funding (31%).
Interestingly, over a quarter of Cardiff’s residents (29%) cited Richard Branson as the most inspiring business personality, admitting he is the one who would most motivate them to start their own business.

The Voom Tour 2017 will visit regional centres across the UK and Ireland and will include ten Voom Pitch competition stops, introduction to Voom Fibre and business networking opportunities.
