Design Means Business is Design Network North's national conference designed to communicate and advance the value and benefits of design to businesses and the wider community.


This 1 day conference aims to inspire and support businesses to engage with design practices and practitioners through a packed schedule of passionate keynote speakers. With speakers from the likes of BT, Herman Miller and Mamas and Papas to name a few, they are highly influential figures in their respective industries, making this conference an opportunity you won't want to miss!

Nicola Millard heads up Customer Insight & Futures in BT's Global Services Innovation Team.  Despite working for a technology company, Nicola isn't a technologist and combines psychology with futurology to try and anticipate what might be lying around the corner for both customers and organisations.
