W We look at personal budgeting – how much do you need to earn from your business to survive. Then we look at what you want to achieve from your business – practical exercises will help you visualise this. A key step – we’ll look at what skills you have and those you need – and how you can bridge these gaps. We also take a quick look at how you register your business and the basics for business planning.
Ask the Accountant
Discuss the practicalities of how and when to set up and register or set up a business.
Unpick the basics of employment when and how to do it – and the salary and tax implications depending on whether you are a sole trader or limited company
Do you know what costs can be claimed against your profit?
What common insurances should you have?
