An award-winning website set up to help ‘mumpreneurs’ sell their products has launched a crowdfunding campaign in a bid to raise £75,000.

All by Mama, which is looking to raise £75,000, has already reached over 42% of its target with over a week of their campaign still to run.

Mother of two Gemma Whates, who founded the company in 2014, said: “Once you’re a mum working life is a challenge.

“With childcare costs going through the roof many mums find that starting a business is one of the only ways to support themselves.

“I created All by Mama to bring mumpreneurs together onto one platform and help them sell to a wider audience.”

The money raised from the crowdfunding campaign will be used to increase the offering of the platform by creating a bespoke product upload service.

Since launching the business, All by Mama has built an audience of 30,000 and has sold over 2,000 products from more than 200 sellers.

Gemma added: “We are now receiving international enquiries from Australia, America and South Africa, and among other awards had the honour of being featured in the Mumpreneur Top 100 in 2015.

“By investing in the platform today you will help us provide a better service to our sellers as well as our customers.”
