The Cube, completed in 2010, was designed by Birmingham-born architect Ken Shuttleworth, of MAKE architects, who created its now famous ‘jewellery-box’ design.
The building will be the latest addition to CBRE’s ‘Premier Properties’ programme, which already includes the Shanghai Tower, the Iberdrola Tower in Bilbao and The Gherkin in the City of London.
David Charlton, an associate director at CBRE, said: “This is a very significant win
for us, and highlights our capacity to manage complex, mixed-use assets and balance the needs of a diverse mix of occupiers.”
