BQ Magazine is delighted to announce the first in a series of BQ Driver Experience Days, taking place in Scotland in association with Dundas Castle, DSG Capital Finance and Parks Motor Group, on 25th August.
Throughout the day, readers of BQ Magazine and BQlive will join us to experience test driving a range of prestige vehicles supplied by our partners. Want to join us? Sign up to BQ Breakfast for your chance to get involved, every day this week.
The Bentley Continental GT
"There’s a riot downstairs, but upstairs the butler keeps his cool." That was Jeremy Clarkson’s take on this monster when he drove it earlier this year. The 2015 model is more efficient than its predecessors, but maintains a very dignified 0-60mph time of 4 secs. A distinctive and classically styled car, the Bentley is elegant but purposeful and turns heads at every corner.
The Maserati Quattroporte
The modern Maserati cars pay a graceful homage to the originals of the 60s, but the technology under the bonnet is second to none. A spacious, comfortable vehicle hides 530HP from view, the distinctive radiator grille bearing the M-logo which car enthusiasts will recognise from afar. Keep your foot down and you’ll head to 190mph with ease.
The McLaren 650s
Woking’s finest have brought us a supercar very worthy of carrying the McLaren badge. The body is constructed from a single piece of carbon fibre, and the polymer chassis is reinforced with carbon fibre too. It’s powered by the tried and tested McLaren M838T 3.8-litre V8, twin-turbo engine which has been given a power-up from the old 12C days. And it’s styled to look breathtakingly beautiful.
We have a number of driving times available you would be able to spend as little as an hour with us or longer depending upon your day whilst enjoying refreshments and the setting at the castle.
