360 degree sky restaurant for Birmingham

A £3m investment will see the opening of a city skyline restaurant in the heart of Birmingham.

Offering 360 degree views of the city, the restaurant named Rofuto, and its accompanying cocktail lounge sit on the 16th floor of Park Regis, Birmingham’s latest 4 star luxury hotel.

Designed by entrepreneur Des McDonald, whose working history includes time working as a head chef, alongside his role as CEO of Caprice Holdings, the restaurant takes inspiration from Tokyo and Singapore.

The restaurant will serve modern Japanese cuisine, made using world-class fresh ingredients, from traditional sushi to yakitori from the grill.

Des McDonald said: “I am delighted to be opening my first modern Japanese restaurant Rofuto, with my partners at Park Regis Birmingham.

“I fell in love with the unparalleled dramatic views from the 16th floor, Birmingham is a great, vibrant city and I’m excited to become part of its dynamic and diverse dining scene.”
