Describe your business in no more than 100 words.

We are currently launching a unique and innovative service to the wedding industry that helps to create beautiful wedding invitations with the combination of augmented reality (AR) for engaged couples.

This means that with a smartphone or tablet device (and 3 simple steps), their guests will enjoy a new visual and engaging experience as they are invited to help celebrate the couple’s marriage than just receiving a bespoke printed or handcrafted invite.

Also it presents all the relevant information for them to attend and to RSVP at their fingertips.

Couples can now add an extra layer of various digital media content like a short video to personally invite their guests, images and even share their favourite music track or playlist for their guests to enjoy, which is proven to help them receive RSVP responses quicker and also leaves a lasting first impression and a personal touch that will set the tone and feel to their big day.

 

What prompted you to enter Pitchfest?

One of my New Year goals was to seek investment of some sort to help me take this concept to the next level and to have a hard launch. Then I got an email that was circulated among friends about this competition a week before its deadline, and to be honest it was the first time I have heard about it. So I applied and in haste to see if this would start opening doors for me.

 

What are you looking to fund with this investment?

Well firstly I would like to push for a hard launch by 2017 and the investment would initially help with this and the marketing, also to create an efficient backend process to cope with the demands.

 To protect the business more, (for me and the investor) to give us confidence to enter different markets, industries and eventually countries. Secondly it will definitely help to build a small creative team to help market and sell our innovative ideas to make a great impact and a ROI. Finally, to create and develop our own app so that we can give our customers more great features.

 

Who inspires you to do what you do?

I have a great list starting from God, my Dad my wife and kids, family and I have some great friends that really inspire me to achieve not just for myself, but for them too.

There are some great brands and designers that really do inspire to strive and to be a trendsetter and hopefully one day meet them or even collaborate with them somehow.

 

Have you explored any other avenues of funding?

Yes I successfully acquired a Virgin Start Up loan , which also has helped me to have real great business mentor for a year. Already he (Nic Sproul) has made an impact to my strategy and helping me shape the business ready for the next move - forward.

 

How do you differentiate your business from others?

I believe that my business and concept can start a new “trend” in the wedding industry and has the capabilities to transfer our concept and features to the commercial markets very quickly. I really want the business to be engaging, exciting and fun for our customers and future staff too.

 

Where do you see your company in five years time?

I can’t reveal my entire secret plans to you right now, however one of them is to be supplying our services and products at a base in other countries, and another is to be a fundamental partner in creating a “pivotal environment” for the next generation.

 

Who would your dream customers be?

I would like to help some celebrities to invite their guests in style.

 

How far is your productservice away from being market ready?

Nearly there! 3 months?

 

What is the one thing you hope investors take away from your pitch?

A real good concept that has the potential to make an impact and evolve into quite a few other markets which will make their investment truly work them and for my ideas.
