Ventive turns to the crowd

Old Isleworth-based Ventive Ltd has launched a crowdfunding campaign in a bid to raise £600,000 equity to help grow the clean-tech ventilation business.

The company is entering a period of rapid growth and is looking to raise £600,000, which will support sales, optimise existing manufacturing processes and continue with the development of their new passive ventilation with heat recovery products.

Ventive is a multiple award-winning ventilation company. Its patented products hail a new range of energy-efficient ventilation devices that create a healthier environment, whilst reducing running and maintenance costs.

Entrepreneurs Tom Lipinski and Rob Morrison founded the company in 2013 and have scaled the production of Ventive products, which have been specified, tested and installed into a large number of properties in the UK.

Morrison said: “We have already demonstrated traction within our target markets, with sales doubling year-on-year for the previous three years. These are projected to increase five-fold this year (ending July).

“The funds raised through Crowdcube will be spent on sales and marketing, manufacturing (tooling and optimisation), accreditation, general overheads and working capital.”

He went on to say: “Legislation is leading the ventilation market in the direction of heat recovery, helping to create demand for technologies that save energy rather than lose energy.

“We are confident that our business will flourish and exceed the financial targets we have laid out.”
