British tech start-up for electric vehicle charging solutions, with experienced commercial and technical management, and a proven success record. Currently with production ready solutions for the UK and export marketplace.
What prompted you to enter the Innovation Zone? Describe the innovation that you’ve entered with:
We are entering the innovation zone focused on promoting our novel electric vehicle charging system. In short this is a complete UK designed and supported AC car charging system, with charge points for home use, for new and existing premises and for public installations, for example by local authorities, even featuring a custom built solar PV charge point for home and retail or commercial premises.
City EV also manufactures units to allow network operators to build their own charge points and networks, and builds charge points for special installations, for example lamp post and heritage installations.

Raise awareness of our organisation and product range, promote locally as we have local prospects and engage in new relationships for the future.

Bigger! As an established professional organisation with a quality client base and growing.
What advice would you give to aspiring innovators?
Never give up! There is always room for innovation and no limits, look for help and listen to people, as most want to help. Lead with ideas, don’t follow. Original ideas can work.
