Melissa Snover, one of Birmingham’s leading tech entrepreneurs and founder of several successful businesses will be giving a series of talks as part of Birmingham Tech Week and revealing details on the development of her newest venture - a ground-breaking, 3D-printer enabled health tech product, Nourished.
Her talks will be delivered across the week alongside various initiatives for technology advancement in the Health, Wellness and FMCG sectors.
As part of the Healthcare Technologies Institute’s event on breaking into health tech which will be running from 10am until 2.30pm on the 7th October at the Institute of Translational Medicine.
Melissa will also be on the panel of a Dragon’s Den style event where health tech startups will be pitching to win £3,000 of research support and consultancy. The focus of the event is about breaking barriers to accessing the healthcare market through innovation and technology - something Melissa is very passionate about.
She will be giving attendees an exciting first look at her latest product (launching publicly on October 17th) which makes use of the world’s first 3D-printer for fruit gummies and will reveal how it will be disrupting the nutrition and healthcare industries.
To celebrate the unveiling of Nourished exclusively into the UK market, the tech start-up is hosting a launch party in their hometown of Birmingham on the 10th of October, where their innovative concept was born. The Nourished team have invited local influencers, bloggers and press along with their close community of neighbours, friends and suppliers to commemorate the occasion.
Guests will be served vegan canapes made of Nourished superfoods and cocktails created with inclusions from the extensive Nourished selection. CEO and Founder Melissa will give interviews and presentations on the business, whilst her team will conduct tours of their recently revamped production facility to give demonstrations on their patented technology.
NatWest Entrepreneur Accelerator have asked Melissa to be a speaker at their event on the 11th of October in conjunction with Birmingham Tech Week, and to give the aspiring entrepreneurs attending an insight into her success story.
Melissa will give a presentation outlining her exciting career and offer some anecdotes on how she has overcome challenges and reached her goals. Melissa will also bring one of her innovative 3D printers to give a demo of the technology behind Nourished and hand out free samples to all delegates.
