Televideo was established in 1976 and has since grown to become one of the UK’s largest outside broadcast companies.
The company is now targeting a £7m turnover, up £2m on the previous year, and also plans to add to its current headcount of 55.
The growth is being aided by a £100,000 loan from Finance Yorkshire which has enabled Televideo to acquire new technology which means it can now offer clients improved services.
Managing director Paul Scivill said: “The production and uplink vehicle means we can go anywhere and deploy a dish on top of the unit with a multi-camera operation to do live production rather than it being done from a studio.
“This means we can offer clients a more complete package – not only can we do the outside broadcast, we can deliver the content as well.”
Televideo operates 11 outside broadcast units and a number of different kinds of support vehicle. The uplink unit has already been used to deliver work for the BBC’s One Show and BBC Music.
