The company saw turnover double to £2.8m last year following strong growth in the UK’s automotive, aerospace and construction sectors.
Increasing demand from overseas also saw the firm complete its first export order to the US, flying the flag for Midlands manufacturing abroad.
The firm, which produces a range of mechanical and hydraulic presses and coil processing equipment, sold more than 50 machines last year.
Russell Hartill, sales director at Worcester Presses, said: “We’ve never seen demand reach this level before, especially in such a short space of time.
“If you think we’ve more than doubled turnover, you begin to understand the scale of what we’ve achieved.”
Bosses at the firm have now taken on five new staff to cope with the increasing demand for its services and are eyeing further growth in the year ahead.
