Datum360 lands Middle East deal

Teesside-based Datum360 is celebrating after landing a lucrative export deal which will see its Software as a Service (SaaS) operating across the Middle East.

Launched in 2009 by founders Steve Wilson and Dave Mitchell, the company has become one of the UK’s leading providers of SaaS to the oil and gas sector.

This latest deal will see Kuwait-based Enterprise Business Solutions W.L.L (EBS) provide Datum360’s SaaS offering across Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain and Qatar.

Datum360’s software will provide refineries and factories with solutions for streamlining and running plants across the region.

Steve Wilson co-founder and CEO at Datum360, said: “Our aim is to become globally recognised for our SaaS solutions that provide the best cloud based engineering information management platform on the market today - delivering digital trust - without the added cost of the classical desktop deployments offered by the competition.

“The continued investment in the downstream sector in the Middle East region and the growing demand for effective engineering information management only adds to the opportunities for us with EBS.

“We are very proud of the reputation that our engineering information management solutions have built in the industry for reducing risk and cost with pioneering capabilities, and as such we feel very confident – as do our new partner - they will appeal to the Middle East market.”

Established in 2009, Datum360 has a team of over 20 specialists operating across the world.

It's clients include most of the world’s major oil companies such as Maersk Oil, Total, BP and GDF Suez (now Engie).
