Mee-Go set for major expansion

A Yorkshire manufacturer of children’s and infant safety products has outlined major expansion plans, committing its future to the region.

Dewsbury-based Mee-Go is looking to take on six extra members of staff and double its turnover this year, after securing a six-figure funding package from HSBC.

HSBC has provided £355,000 of funding to company, which supplies a range of pushchairs, prams, highchairs, baby furniture to retailers across the globe.

This includes 92 stockists in the UK as well as retailers in China, Korea, Denmark, Spain, Italy, and Portugal.

Paul Roberts, founder of Mee-Go, said: “Our aim was to revisit our business processes and change how we operate.

“This finance package is central to ensuring we deliver the best children’s and infant safety products which are functional, safe, and innovative, in the most efficient way possible.

“We continue to grow quickly, but remain focused on exploring further international opportunities and introducing new product lines, including the launch of the UK’s lightest pushchair later this year.”

With 17 years of experience in children’s and infant safety items, Mee-Go strives to design and create high-quality products that are safe and practical for parents to use.

The company, which currently has five employees, has only recently launched its new and existing product lines into the Chinese domestic market.
