In yet another success story for the region’s buoyant healthcare sector, over 120,000 US healthcare facilities will now have access to Crawford’s product portfolio.
The deal with Premier Inc. further bolsters its presence in the US, following the announcement in February that it was included as an approved supplier on the Federal Supply Schedule.
Being an approved supplier means it can also supply its innovative products to an estimated nine million US Veterans in the world’s largest advanced wound care market.
Crawford Healthcare CEO, Richard Anderson, said: “This agreement with Premier allows us to reach a further massive patient group in a key target market.
“Being able to sell and supply via the large GPOs like Premier will enable a truly meaningful impact on the way wound care is delivered in the US, where growing international health issues such as diabetes continue to trouble healthcare providers.
“Advanced wound care in the United States is estimated to be worth US$25bn per year to the healthcare industry, the largest market globally.
“The success of Crawford Healthcare’s UK-developed products means that US healthcare providers are increasingly recognising the positive impact Crawford’s products can have on their clinical and economic outcomes.
“We expect US healthcare providers to play a key role in our international growth.”
