The deals will see Low Carbon Lighting (LCL), a manufacturer of LED lighting solutions, export its products to Ireland, Abu Dhabi and Kenya.
The lights the company produces from its site in Newcastle use up to 70% less power than conventional models and can last up to 10 times longer.
The design means the lights are both more energy and financially efficient than traditional lights, making them an attractive alternative to developers overseas.
These deals are the most recent in a string of successes for LCL, which already supplies lighting for Greggs’ national manufacturing facilities and distribution warehousing.
Michael McNeill, chief executive at LCL, said: “These new contracts are an important step for the company as we continue to grow our overseas customer base.
“Our products are designed, developed, and manufactured in the North East and for us to be able to compete on a global scale is testimony to the skill and quality of British manufacturing.”
The company has been supported in the past by Northstar Ventures.
