As part of a nationwide tour organised by the Department for International Trade, the 32 tonne campaign truck will visit five sites across the North West, taking in Salford, Winsford, Warrington, Leyland and Aintree. The Export Hub will host seminars, workshops and one-to-one meetings where attendees can meet with export advisors.
The tour begins with a visit to MediaCityUK at Salford Quays on Monday 26th September, before moving on to Winsford Industrial Estate on Tuesday 27th. The agenda for the latter includes a focus on undertaking business in China, while representatives from the Royal Bank of Scotland will also provide advice on how to secure payment for services.
The following day the truck moves across Cheshire to Victoria Park in Warrington. Attendees here will be able to learn more about how India is becoming an increasingly business friendly destination and insight into the country’s growing demand for British goods.
The penultimate stop of the North West tour sees a visit to Lancashire Business Park in Leyland on Thursday 29th, with a focus on the fashion industry, the key overseas markets for this sector and the best route into them for exporters.
The tour comes to an end with a visit to Merseyside and the world famous Aintree Racecourse on Friday 30th September.
All of the hub stops will also include aFirst Time Exporters Roundtable with Department for International Trade North West Export Champions and sessions on how to use the Export Savvy online learning portal.
