The International Business Hub is a one-stop-shop for all importers and exporters to tap into the expertise of international trade advisers and seek assistance with export information and contacts.
The International Business Hub also provides international trade training through a series of events and seminars, as well as organising marketing visits and exhibitions overseas.
Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce chief executive Paul Faulkner said: "We are excited to be launching the Greater Birmingham International Business Hub at the Chamber.
"We currently offer a wide range of international related services, from export support and guidance via our Department of International Trade and EEN teams, an export documentation service, a translations team offering services in 170 languages, as well as a great foreign exchange service for Chamber members, in addition to running the regional British American Business Council.
"The new International Hub allows us to link our services more seamlessly for local businesses and provide additional value and benefits.
"Post-Brexit, doing business internationally has never been so important, so this is the perfect time for us to refine our existing international offerings and create a hub that will allow us to do more for businesses in the region."
Businesses of all sizes can contact the Hub’s international trade advisers for free advice and support, no matter which country they are looking to export to.
In addition, the Hub is able to offer advice, certify, legalise and issue the documents required for exporting.
Any business looking to export needs up to date market information and contacts – and the Hub can use its global network to facilitate introductions to overseas buyers, suppliers and trade partners.
The Hub’s expertise in language services allows businesses to communicate effectively nationally and internationally. It can handle 120 different language combinations, covering all industries and subject areas.
