Buckinghamshire’s Global Infusion Group has helped launch the Michelin Guide in Shanghai, the prestigious publication’s first venture into mainland China.
Leading event’s specialist Global Infusion Group helped put together a glittering ceremony to officially launch the Michelin Guide in Shanghai last month.
This is the latest in a string of international success stories for GIG, which also has offices in the United States, the Middle East and Asia.
Around 400 guests celebrated the inaugural edition with GIG providing bespoke canapés, chefs and waiting staff for the high-profile occasion along with equipment enabling four of Shanghai’s new Michelin starred restaurants to showcase their signature dishes.
GIG Events coordinator Matt Sanders said: “We were excited and honoured to be invited to be part of the launch of the Shanghai Michelin Guide which gave our culinary team the opportunity to work alongside some of China’s finest chefs.”
GIG employs around 170 full-time staff world-wide supported by up to 3,000 freelance professional specialists to support the hundreds of global events and functions it works at each year.
