Launched in 2002 by Andrew Churchill to take innovation to the oil and gas industry.

What do you currently export, and where to?
Drilling tools (for rental) to the USA, Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia and Australasia.
What motivated you to start selling overseas, and how long did it take?
There was a need in the market for our innovation. It took only months to start selling overseas.
What is the easiest part of exporting?
Deciding to do it!
And the most challenging part?
Getting representation overseas.
Have language barriers, currency changes, etiquette and culture ever caused you any difficulties? How did you overcome them?
By hiring ‘locals’ in the areas we want to operate in.
What advice would you give to someone just starting to explore overseas markets?
Where next? What markets are you looking into and where do you see the company in 5 years time?
We are looking to move into South America. Our aim is to continue to expand our product catalogue and increase the geographical areas in which we do business.
