Cereal Killer Café hits Birmingham

London-born Cereal Killer Café is opening its first branch outside of the Capital at Birmingham’s The Bullring.

Cereal Killer Café, due to opens its doors in Birmingham this November, offers over 100 different brands of cereal from around the world.

Like its London counterparts, the Birmingham café will be offering cereal cocktails, which are different mixes of cereal, toppings and milk.

One of the cafes most popular cocktails is ‘Unicorn Poop’- a mix of Ricicles, marshmallow fluff, party rings, squidgy marshmallows, sprinkles and strawberry milk.

The menu will also include hot chocolate, 20 flavours of Poptart, 100  options of milk, maltshakes, toast, teas and coffees.

The 90s themed café will seat 100 customers and feature a heavy dose of nostalgia in the form of arcade games and pop culture memorabilia from the decade.

Since opening its first branch in London in December 2014, identical twin brothers and co-owners­ Alan and Gary Keery have opened a second branch in Camden Market, released a cookbook and are now planning to continue expanding nationally.

Alan  said: “We’ve had the most amazing journey since opening almost 2 years ago, our customers know that they aren’t just coming for a bowl of cereal, they get the whole cereal experience, and I can’t wait to share that with the people of Birmingham.”

Gary added: “The Bullring is going to be in for a sweet treat this November, we’re open from 8am to 8pm so it’s not just for breakfast, we sell cereal as a treat to be eaten at any time of day.”
