The space has been designed to meet the needs of the city’s growing number of flexible workers and start-up businesses.
The centre, which opened in January, occupies three floors of the building on Grosvenor Square, at the heart of Southampton’s business district.
Regus expects the co-working space to appeal to a wide range of users, including home workers looking for a change of atmosphere and local SMEs and start- ups that want to work in a dynamic, collaborative atmosphere.
Richard Morris, UK CEO at Regus, said: “We’re delighted to announce the launch of our new co-working space at Cumberland House.
"The building has been a fantastic addition to our network in Hampshire, providing a centrally located business base with convenient access to the rail station.
“Our new co-working space gives our members another flexible work location where they can use space as and when they need it.
"Today’s businesses are operating in a very different world to their predecessors. They want to work where, when and how it suits them, on flexible terms, and we are expanding continually to meet their needs.”
Regus has several other business centres in the area, including one on Southampton International Business Park and one on Solent Business Park in Whitely.
