The sandwich chain announced the plans after revealing a rise in sales of 13.9% to hit a record £676.2m in 2015, while operating profit grew 14.5% to £84.3m.
The US was Pret's fastest growing market, where like-for-like sales grew 13.8%.
Pret chief executive Clive Schlee said: "These results represent another year of record sales for Pret.
"The highlights were a strong performance in the US - our newly opened Penn Station shop has the highest sales per square foot of any Pret in the world."
The company opened 36 new shops globally in 2015 and created 763 jobs.
