London-based Metail was the most successful of the companies, ranking third out of the top 100 in the latest Clydesdale and Yorkshire Bank’s IP100 League Table.
The IP100 is the UK’s first Intellectual Property (IP) League Table compiled by BQ Magazine in association with award-winning IP solutions firm Metis Partners.
“The IP League Table gives SMEs recognition for the IP they’ve created. This is a unique opportunity to benchmark your company as IP-savvy and demonstrate to the world how IP-rich your company is,” said Stephen Robertson, founder of IP specialists Metis Partners who compiled the league table.
The report profiles and ranks innovative companies, highlighting those which have significantly invested in their IP in the form of IP creation, IP management policies, R&D activities and IP commercialisation.
The other companies to make the table included Doosan Babcock, Desktop Genetics, Sunstore Technolgies, Activity Banking, Affective Logic, Dogtag, KB Group (UK), Bactest, eeGeo, Smith & Sinclair and Centrepoint Computer Services.
