Now in its 14th year, the Gatwick Diamond Meet the Buyers event has a proven track record of generating new business for businesses that attend.
In the last six years alone the event has been attended by over 1,480 local businesses with business in excess of £22.5m predicted to have been won.
Buyers attending this year’s event include the likes of Kier Construction, Gatwick Airport, Balfour Beatty, West Sussex County Council and HSS Hire among many others.
Liz Townsend head of procurement at Gatwick Airport, a joint sponsor of the event, said: "We’ve been fully involved in the Gatwick Meet the Buyers programme since 2002, and are pleased to be joint sponsors once again this year along with the Gatwick Diamond Initiative.
"Gatwick is a major economic driver for the South East region, and we participate in regional activities through active membership of economic groups and partnerships, working together to build a strong local supply chain; boost business and to strengthen opportunities for employment and skills development.
"In 2015, we spent over £74m with local suppliers (Gatwick Diamond, Brighton & Hove and Croydon) reflecting our active focus on improving opportunities for local business to supply to Gatwick."
If your business is located within the Gatwick Diamond area the cost is £125+vat per ticket due to subsidies.
For businesses outside the area, tickets cost £275+vat.
