Founded in 2009 by entrepreneur Fiona Lowry, The Good Care Group’s aim is to become the leading provider of high quality home care services for elderly people.
The group specialises in helping those with medical conditions such as dementia, Parkinson’s, MS and Motor Neurone disease, to help improve wellbeing and overall quality of life.
Fiona Lowry said: “Our focus remains firmly on building a business that is dedicated to driving up standards and professionalising home care.
“We know that there is an opportunity to reach even more people throughout the UK and this funding allows us to do so.”
Regulated and approved by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), The Good Care Group provides full time, day or respite care and employs more than 700 carers.
The investment was led for BGF by Rory Pope, Will Gresty and Tom McDonnell.
