London Photo Festival co-founder launches photography startup

London Photo Festival co-founder Emma Mapp has launched her own line of photography accessories after identifying a gap in the market.

Emma is a co-founder of the London Photo Festival – which gives aspiring photographers the opportunity to display their work – and the London Photo Gallery which sells prints on behalf of emerging photographers.

Seven years ago she made the move from city lawyer to photographer and has since had her work featured in publications such as The Telegraph and the Metro, and won multiple awards.

After struggling to find any camera bags that she believed combined both style and practicality, Emma has now decided to design her own.

Emma said: "It has been a long process for me trying to find the 'perfect' camera bag and strap and when I couldn't find it, I set about getting my own made.

“As someone who loves travel, photography and bags I did not want to have to make do with something that looked ubiquitous or wasn't up to the job.

“The camera bags and straps have proved to be very popular and I've had great success since I launched in May this year."

The line includes camera bags, handbags and clutch bags as well as leather lens holders and brightly coloured camera straps.
