Mount Street in Mayfair
MATCHESFASHION.COM is set to open up a new six-story store on Mount Street in Mayfair after agreeing a deal with Grosvenor Britain & Ireland.
MATCHESFASHION.COM will move in to a three-story Edwardian townhouse at 5 Carlos Place on the eastern end of Mount Street just off Berkeley Square and will offer a selection of high-end fashion brands across ready-to-wear, footwear and accessories for both men and women.
Complementing the existing luxury fashion brands and F&B destinations in the area, namely Balenciaga, Christopher Kane, Loewe and The Connaught, MATCHESFASHION.COM is another vote of confidence to the distinctive neighbourhood of Mayfair and the Mount Street retail destination.
Joanna Lea, retail director at Grosvenor Britain & Ireland, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Matches Fashion, one of the world’s leading luxury retailers, to Mayfair.
“We have a vision for our London estate to be at the forefront of retailing trends, and the arrival of Matches Fashion confirms Mount Street’s appeal to cutting-edge luxury fashion.”
Mount Street proudly positions itself as one of the best luxury retail destinations in London. The unique mix of international and flagship luxury brands and emerging, independent fashion, accessories and lifestyle stores sets Mount Street apart as a haven from other locations and a retreat from the bustle of Oxford Street.
With a beautiful public realm, luxury hotels and selection of restaurants, Mount Street is continuing to cement its reputation as a world-class city experience.
