The recovering Fareham-headquartered defence firm has seen its orderbook fill up due to rising tensions between the US and the DPRK.
Chemring saw revenue during the four-month period from 1 May to 31 August increase by 13.4% on the same period last year.
Revenue in the period was £156.7m, compared to £138.2m for the same period last year.
This was boosted by a rise in orders for the company’s countermeasures products which received £56.6m in orders during the period, the majority of which were from the US.
Chemring is a global business that specialises in the manufacture of high technology products and the provision of services to the aerospace, defence and security markets.
Employing approximately 2,500 people worldwide, and with production facilities in four countries, the company meets the needs of customers in more than 50 countries.
