Smythson's new Bond Street flagship
The British heritage brand which manufactures luxury stationery, leather goods, diaries, and fashion products, has opened a new flagship boutique on Bond Street.
British luxury lifestyle and travel brand, Smythson, has returned to the original location of the company’s first boutique on London’s iconic Bond Street.
This new boutique marks the seventh location that the brand has held on ‘The Street’, as it was fondly named by its founder Frank Smythson, and coincides with the Smythson’s 130th anniversary.
Housed in an elegant Grade II Listed Arts and Crafts building, the interior combines the building’s historic architecture with modern accents, reflecting Smythson’s innovative design philosophy while also paying homage to the brand’s rich heritage.
Established in 1887, the company has long catered to the highly discerning, from European Royalty and the Indian Maharajas to the likes of Grace Kelly, Katharine Hepburn, Claudette Colbert and Vivien Leigh.
The brand also boasts three Royal Warrants, having been granted a Royal Warrant from Her Majesty The Queen in 1964, HRH The Prince of Wales in 1980, and HRH The Duke of Edinburgh in 2002.
