The group which has 33 pubs across the South of England saw turnover rise approximately 34% in 2017.
The City Pub Group, which owns and operates 33 premium pubs across Southern England, is eyeing further growth in 2018 after seeing turnover soar last year.
For the year ended 31 Dec, like-for-like sales were up by 3.8% with total turnover for the year rising by £37.4m, an increase of approximately 34% on 2016.
Trading over the Christmas period was particularly strong, with many of the recent openings trading ahead of management's expectations and a number of pubs achieving a record result.
The group is now looking to open a new vegan pub in Parson’s Green early this year, which will be a first for the chain, as well as new pubs in Clapham and Reading.
Clive Watson, executive chairman of The City Pub Group, said: "Trading was robust over the festive period and throughout 2017.
“Our new openings are performing well and we are excited about our recent high-quality acquisitions.
“We continue to seek and find a ready flow of acquisitions to build the group and we are close to exchanging on further units.”
The group has also announced the appointment of Neil Griffiths as independent non-executive director with immediate effect.
