Tech startup Personably has closed a £500,000 seed funding round led by Global Founders Capital.
Personably is a London-based startup fixing employee onboarding for companies hiring at scale.
The platform automates manual tasks like setting up accounts and scheduling training and induction meetings.
This allows managers to focus on creating the context the new starter needs to succeed in their job.
Current customers include Monzo, GoCardless and Nested. Monzo have onboarded 204 people through Personably since they signed up in April 2017.
Now, after bootstrapping the product for the first 12 months, the Personably team have raised £500,000 in a seed round led by Rocket Internet’s Global Founders Capital.
Also participating in the round were angel investors Matt Robinson (founder of GoCardless, and Nested) and Caroline Sage (Founder at Kea Consultants).
CEO and co-founder Katerina Pascoulis said: “Our goal is to let teams build smart workflows to automate the manual work, allowing them to focus on perfecting the employee experience.”
The company is using the funding to invest heavily into building out new features on the platform.
Their focus to date has been on fast-growing start-ups but they’re now looking to how this can work for larger corporates who are hiring at scale.
