A free business school that is coming to London aims to start one hundred new businesses in the capital this winter. Events are scheduled to take place in Westminster, Croydon and in Barnet between 5 November and 7 December.
The PopUp Business School, which is being delivered across the UK, helps potential entrepreneurs, small businesses and start-ups take their businesses towards their first sale. The training schedule includes a mix of practical sessions, one-to-one coaching, workshop sessions and peer support. Workshop topics include starting a business without investment, sales and marketing, building a free website and finding customers.
Courses are delivered over two-week periods, designed to get students trading as quickly as possible.
Alan Donegan, co-founder of the PopUp Business School, said: "We are very excited about coming to deliver three events across London over the next month. London has been home to many entrepreneurs over the years and we are excited about finding the next generation of startups here in the capital”.
The PopUp Business School is available free of charge to participants through sponsorship and funding from local authorities, housing associations, private funders and charities. Funders include Westminster City Council, Hammerson Plc, Derwent, Croydon Council, Barnet Council, The Octavia Foundation, Optivo, Wandle and Blenheim.
Registration for the events is free of charge and more details can be found on the website at: www.popupbusinessschool.co.uk/events
